Are you looking for new experiences? Book a smoke sauna or enjoy traditional Finnish meals to fulfill your vacation! Experience the relaxing effect and smells of the smoke sauna. After the sauna, take a dip in an ice hole during the winter or in a refreshing pond in the summer.

Karsikkolampi smoke sauna

A traditional Finnish smoke sauna heats up in Syöte’s Karsikkolampi pond, and the atmosphere and smells are a real experience. In the winter season, you can even take a dip in a hole in the ice. The water of the pond is also refreshing in summer.

The smoke sauna in Karsikkolampi has a capacity of 7 people on its soot-darkened benches, making it a great activity for families and small groups. The sauna is connected to a warm dressing room, where you can enjoy the warmth of a roaring fireplace. Outside you can admire the beauty of the fells on the small terrace.

Price: 120 € / 3 h (1.5.-31.10.), 150 € / 3 h (1.11.-30.4.)

Birch switches and guidance to the smoke sauna are included in the price of the reservation (3h). The Karsikkolampi smoke sauna is located about 6.5 km from Iso-Syöte and about 2.5 km from Pikku-Syöte.

Karsikkolammen savusauna

Barrel sauna at the shore of  Naamankajärvi lake

An atmospheric barrel sauna is available at Pytky Ranch. This traditional wooden sauna guarantees wonderfully warm baths for up to four people. The water is carried from the lake and is mixed according to the old-time methods. But all this ready for you when you come!

In the summer, you can take a dip in the lake from the sandy beach, and in the winter you can relax in the open air!

Price: 85 € / 1,5 h.

Towels can be rented for 5 € or you can bring your own.

Hanhilampi smoke sauna

The experience to remember for groups of 10-50 people! Try out a traditional Finnish smoke sauna and take a swim in the dark waters of Lake Hanhilampi. In the wintertime, candles light your way through the woods from the kota hut to the sauna and the lake, where you can take a refreshing plunge into the lake through a hole in the ice. This is a true test of courage even for us!

As an addition to sauna experience set an unforgettable dinner over the open fire at the Lappish-style Kota nearby.  The scents of the blazing campfire and the delicious flavours of the game meals guarantee you overall a memorable experience.

Price: 500 € / group, max. 2 hours.

Extra hour 150 €/h, towels 6 € each.
