LumiAreena provides a great setting for meetings and group gatherings!
LumiAreena is an event centre that offers facilities, e.g. for meetings, training, concerts, parties, sports and coaching events, and other miscellaneous events throughout the year.
The premises include Pudasjärvi tourist information centre, Syöte Booking centre’s office, modern gym and a spacious hall of 431 m², where various events can be organized. The hall can also be reserved for sports use. The upper-level multi-purpose hall is also an available place for a changing pop-up store. The total area of the LumiAreena building is approximately 1,400 m² and the building has an internal connection to the Kide Hotel and Bistoria restaurant.
The owner of LumiAreena is the municipality of Pudasjärvi. Pudasjärvi is the modern log capital of Finland and is known for its log construction, so the primary building material of LumiAreena are logs. It is the world’s first modern log building built for this type of use.
Meeting at LumiArena
In the convertible multi-purpose hall of the two-storey LumiAreena, it is possible to hold meetings for even a large group. Arranged in a classroom format, a meeting is possible with seating and tables for max. 200 people. Organized only with chairs, the event is successful for a group of as many as 400 people.
The multi-purpose hall is always equipped with a video projector, a white screen, and high-quality sound reproduction with either a traditional microphone or a headset microphone. As in the case of a log building, the acoustics are already good by nature. The hall’s LED lighting can be adjusted to suit the atmosphere and the hall’s large landscape window also provides natural light comfortably. If necessary, the hall can be darkened with curtains.

LumiAreena for sports use
LumiAreena’s hall can also be reserved for sports use – just about anyone!
Play volleyball or badminton, gather a floorball team or take a tennis match with a friend. The arena has nets for all these sports, and the equipment includes floorball practice rackets and volleyballs. Upgraded floorball rackets and badminton equipment can be rented upstairs from the Syöte Rent & Safari’s office. You should have your own equipment for playing tennis.
The hall can be booked for sports use at an hourly rate of € 35.
LumiAreena as a stage for events
Organize a corporate event or other occasions in Syöte.
With LumiAreena, Syöte has a first-class framework for organizing corporate events, various seminars and private events. The premises can host sports and coaching events, small fairs, concerts and even weddings.
LumiAreena adapts to a stage for events for up to 400 people, and there is enough accommodation capacity for large groups in the Syöte area. LumiAreena’s upstairs space also has space for a changing pop-up store.
