Karsikkolampi smoke sauna

A traditional Finnish smoke sauna heats up in Syöte’s Karsikkolampi pond, and the atmosphere and smells are a real experience. In the winter season, you can even take a dip in a hole in the ice. The water of the pond is also refreshing in summer.

The smoke sauna in Karsikkolampi has a capacity of 7 people on its soot-darkened benches, making it a great activity for families and small groups. The sauna is connected to a warm dressing room, where you can enjoy the warmth of a roaring fireplace. Outside you can admire the beauty of the fells on the small terrace.

Price: 100 € / 3 h (1.5.-31.10.), 120 € / 3 h (1.11.-30.4.)

Birch switches and guidance to the smoke sauna are included in the price of the reservation (3h). The Karsikkolampi smoke sauna is located about 6.5 km from Iso-Syöte and about 2.5 km from Pikku-Syöte.

Open fire dinner in a Finnish wilderness hut

Book for your event a delicious dinner, made of local products and prepared over an open fire! The evening is well suitable for a themed weekend, corporate well-being event or as a surprise for the hero of the day!

Blazed salmon dinner

Take a trip to nature and enjoy a tasty salmon dinner cooked in the radiated heat of an open fire! Our professional wilderness chef will prepare a tasty, blazed salmon fillet with side dishes for you and your group.

We can organize blazed salmon dinner trips for groups to the Teerivaara wilderness hut in Syöte National Park or other agreed destination. In addition to salmon, the menu includes tartar sauce, salad and vegetables. For dessert, we offer sweet bread cheese with coffee or tea. The service can be implemented as an additional service during excursions or as a separate product.
